Luke & Leia

Luke & Leia are both very young Kestrel Falcons, not as common as the Owls & Hawks we take in. They are the smallest of the Falcon species, pocket size little raptors, but feisty. The were found in the top of a hollowed out Maple Tree that had to be removed from a property in LA County. They are gorgeous birds when they are grown & their adult feathers have grown in. We look forward to working with & helping these siblings.

9-25-24 - Luke & Leia both have been given the all clear and released back into the wild near Angelus Oaks. We enjoyed having them and their charming personalities. Best of luck to you both & we know you will thrive in the wild!
